RAC Application

The Resident Advancement Committee (RAC) of the Saint Luke’s Foundation exists to leverage the lived experience and expertise of engaged residents of Greater Buckeye, Mount Pleasant and Woodland Hills to award discretionary level funding for community-centered projects and initiatives.

The RAC offers an innovative opportunity to widen the scope of influence, enhance Foundation learning, and offer residents decision-making power to promote change in their environment.

The RAC will be intergenerational and comprised of residents with varying skills and backgrounds.

Resident Advancement Committee members will:

  • Review grant applications and award funding for initiatives in the neighborhoods in which they reside.
  • Convene bi-monthly at the Foundation
  • Serve a 3-year term – with the option to roll off annually

Resident Advancement Committee members must:

  • Be a resident of one of the following Cleveland neighborhoods: Mount Pleasant, Greater Buckeye or Woodland Hills
  • Possess moderate to strong neighbor relationships
  • Have a strong desire to uplift and advance their community
  • Have an asset-based lens regarding the neighborhood(s)
  • Be open to learning the culture of philanthropy and grantmaking
