$3.95 million initially available; individuals and organizations encouraged to give
CLEVELAND (March 18, 2020) – Philanthropic partners across Northeast Ohio today announced the creation of the Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund, which will soon distribute grants to nonprofit organizations serving on the front lines of the pandemic throughout Greater Cleveland.
According to the March 17 update from the Ohio Department of Health, Cuyahoga County’s 31 confirmed cases of COVID-19 made up close to half of the confirmed diagnoses in the state of Ohio.
