On September 8, the Board of Trustees of the Saint Luke’s Foundation approved grants to 10 organizations totaling $679,800 over two years. These investments advance the Foundation’s mission to achieve health equity by addressing social determinants of health including educational attainment, financial stability, healthy eating and active living, safe and affordable housing, social connections, and the strengthening of the neighborhoods surrounding the former Saint Luke’s hospital.
Educational Attainment
- Cuyahoga Community College Foundation (1 year, $50,000) for Neighborhood Micro-Internship Opportunities Program/Project Support
Healthy Eating, Active Living
- See You At The Top (1 year, $40,000) for General Operating Support and Capacity Building
Housing Safety and Stability
- Environmental Health Watch (2 years, $200,000) for General Operating Support and Capacity Building
- Family Promise (1 year, $50,000) for General Operating Support
Increase Household Financial Stability
- The Phe'Be Foundation (1 year, $64,800) for Community Wealth Building Progam/Project Support
- Seeds of Literacy (1 year, $40,000) for General Operating Support
Improve Environment Surrounding Saint Luke's - To Be A Neighborhood of Choice
- Life Exchange Center (1 year, $50,000) for Healing Using Hope and Culturally Relevant Wellness Techniques Program/Project Support
- The Meeting Place Learning Center, Inc. (1 year, $50,000) for General Operating Support

- East End Neighborhood House (1 year, $85,000) for Elevate the East "Inspire Your City" Program/Project Support
- Adoption Network Cleveland (1 year, $50,000) for Diversifying & Expanding Family Program/Project Support
