About Saint Luke's Foundation
Established in 1997 and based in Cleveland, Ohio, the Saint Luke’s Foundation is a not-for-profit private foundation that was born out of the sale of the assets and liabilities of what was the Saint Luke’s Medical Center.
SLF’s believes that people thrive as a result of living free of racism and poverty and experiencing equitable economic opportunities and conditions that enable them to lead healthier lives. With a mission to achieve health equity by addressing the social determinants of health for people in the neighborhoods surrounding SLF and throughout Cuyahoga County, the Foundation, through its recent strategic plan, is poised to make a far greater impact than ever before.
The Opportunity
The President and Chief Executive Officer will ensure that the vision and mission guide the work of the foundation in advancing efforts to pursue health equity by addressing the social determinants of health in the Saint Luke’s neighborhoods and Cuyahoga County. The CEO will lead, direct, and coordinate the activities of the Foundation in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the Board of Trustees and articulated through the foundation’s strategic plan.
