(6/27/13) We’d like to thank those who attended our Strong Communities learning session today at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging. Brian Smedley, Ph.D., Vice President and Director, Health Policy Institute, Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, lead the session with a discussion around advancing opportunities in disadvantaged communities and what individual sectors can do to advance a thoughtful, place-based agenda related to neighborhoods, equity and opportunity.
