(4.14.14) Every day, 53 million people go to school to work or learn. Within school environments, these people – children and adults alike – consume about half of their daily food and beverage intake. It is vitally important, therefore, that efforts are made to promote healthy eating and physical activity choices during school hours.
On April 8, a capacity crowd filled the private dining room at The City Club of Cleveland to celebrate a united effort by local funders, educators and health professionals to make Cleveland-area schools beacons for healthy eating and activities.
