Sandra Byrd Chappelle joined the Saint Luke’s Foundation in July 2007, as Senior Program Officer – Transformational Initiatives. A native of Northeast Ohio, Ms. Chappelle brings 27 years of experience in the health and human services arena, to her role at the Foundation. Her most recent position was as the Senior Health Policy Advisor for the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners where she was responsible for analyzing the implications of state and federal policy pertaining to health access, and planning and implementing broad-based community initiatives. She has served on numerous community boards and volunteer initiatives throughout her career and earned both B.A. and M.A. degrees from Kent State University.
