(5.6.15) A Strong Community share: We are proud to showcase a beautiful new greenspace located on Crestwood Avenue. The greenspace project was made possible through collaboration between the Cleveland Botanical Garden, LAND Studios, Thriving Communities, the Cleveland City Planning Department, the City of Cleveland Land Bank, Buckeye Shaker Square Development Corporation, neighborhood residents and other community partners.

While the design intervention for this project was simple, it sends a strong signal that our community truly cares about greenspace and its many benefits. This new greenspace now provides a place for kids to play, for seniors to sit, and it also offers space for future programming as well. Note the solar lighting and fences around the area.

Imagine how our city would look if every vacant land was transformed into spaces like this?

We applaud the efforts of all stakeholders in this valuable project.
