Returning To Our Roots, and Reaffirming Our Commitment
to Improving Health and Well-being
ANNE C. GOODMAN
work was dynamic, inspiring, challenging, and designed
to produce measurable impacts.
From 1907 to 1997, the Saint Luke’s Hospital Association provided outstanding healthcare to residents in the communities that surrounded Saint Luke’s Medical Center. Since our founding in 1997, Saint Luke’s Foundation has likewise remained steadfastly committed to improving and transforming the health and well-being of residents throughout this neighborhood.
In 2014, we moved back home to the historic Saint Luke’s Pointe campus. We are now better able to serve the community as a true stakeholder. From this new home, we have already gained much deeper insights on the communities that our grantees serve. Our board and staff are tremendously energized and excited about the Foundation’s return to Saint Luke’s Pointe.
In addition to our location change, we experienced several organizational changes
Our changes have brought excitement to the organization, but the focus and hard work that are hallmarks of our organization are stronger than ever. We remain staunchly committed to providing funding in the three program areas that serve our mission: Healthy People, A Strong Neighborhood and Resilient Families.
For deeper insights on our grantmaking approach across our three program areas, Healthy People, A Strong Neighborhood, and Resilient Families, we have provided brief case studies on several notable 2014 grants. We encourage you to click on the links below to read more about them and further understand our work and goals within each area.
Our foundation doesn’t want to just write checks. We also seek to participate in work that is being done in our program areas throughout the community. We work to stimulate dialogue, bring partners together and use our knowledge and experience where we can to help make the biggest impacts that advance our mission.
The more we learn about the work that our applicants and grantees perform, the more we are in awe of the creativity and dedication of so many in our community. We are thrilled to play a part in helping nonprofit partners change the world.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We look forward to engaging with you in the year ahead.
